Just wanted to offer my condolences  / Debi Collins (just passing by )

To Kathy and Debbie's family,

I was given the link to this memorial from an emaill. Hope you don't mind a visit from a stranger. My name is Debi, I'm 52 years old, and on April 19th, 2008, my best friend, Brenda, died at the age of 52 from Lupus related complications and multiple organ failure. The loss is tremendous Kathy; I know you must feel as if you're missing a limb. (I know that I do at times.)

Cancer is such a brutal thing; my sister died of pancreatic cancer five years ago, just two months after being diagnosed. I hope that Debbie didn't suffer and pray that hospice was there for her and her family and friends.

May God bless each of you as this journey continues. Grief is different to each and every soul.  Try to focus on the beautiful new home that Debbie now shares with my sister and our son, Andrew. (he died of blunt force trauma to his head on July 16th, 2005)  He was 18 years old.
